Otter’s new range of features and improvements has arrived for the start of February 2024! We’re continuing to make your Otter experience faster, smoother, and more efficient, no matter which solution you’re using. It’s now easier to connect new businesses and stores on Otter, too!

New in this release:

  • Quickly Resolve POS Menu Errors. If you integrate Otter with your POS, you can easily see if any items are out of sync. In-line error notes mean quick resolutions, so you can make order cancellations and injection issues a thing of the past. 
  • Drive More Revenue with Menu Upsells. Did you know when customers are recommended additional items during checkout, average order size increases by up to 30%*? By adding upsells to your menu, your customers will be presented with additional items before they check out. Want fries with that burger? Yes, please!

  • Improved Tip Visibility for Dine-In Customers. Customers that use our Digital Dine-In solution now have new Tip Reporting features available in Order Manager. With this feature, your staff can see how the day is progressing with real-time tip data.
  • Improved Setup and Onboarding Experience. Customers that are new to Otter have a streamlined guide to get started quickly. A new, clear checklist details critical set-up steps to prepare your store for service ASAP.
  • Connecting Stores Made Fast and Easy. Adding new stores can be a hassle, but Otter makes it smooth as butter. Now, you can connect multiple stores at once, saving you from the time-consuming process of doing it one-by-one. Plus, we've added ChowNow to the Integrations tab, making it even simpler to sync your account to Otter.
  • Special Instructions got you down? Nothing is worse than when customers submit special instructions and you’re not expecting them. The disconnect can be a real problem for customer service. Now, you can choose whether or not to allow special instructions from Uber Eats.  
  • Monitor Business Performance within Order Manager. Your Order Manager tablet now provides even more insight with the addition of Net Sales on the Report page. This metric is also available in your Otter Dashboard.
