POS: Homebase timesheet Integration

What’s new: If you use Homebase for time tracking, you can now automatically sync your Otter POS Time Cards with your Homebase Timesheets. Every clock-in and clock-out entered in your POS will show up in Homebase, no extra steps needed.

Make sure your usernames match in both Otter POS and Homebase. Follow this step-by-step guide to set it up.

Why it matters: Skip the double entry. This integration keeps your timesheets up to date without the manual work so you can trust Homebase as your single source of truth.

POS: Cash applet

What’s new: The Drawers applet in your Otter POS is now called Cash. It’s also been redesigned to make it easier to use. You can still do everything you used it for, including managing drawer starts and ends, pay-ins and pay-outs as well as reconciliation. Here’s a quick refresher on how it works.

Why it matters: The rebrand and redesign will make cash management more intuitive for new team members, minimizing confusion and training time.

Marketing: Store health

What’s new: Running into trouble when creating campaigns in the Marketing app? Now, you’ll see a banner whenever store-related issues are preventing campaigns from going live. Click the banner to see the list of affected stores. Some issues, like reconnecting to your delivery platforms, can even be fixed right there.

Why it matters: Previously, some customers had difficulties scheduling campaigns in the Marketing app because of issues with their stores’ connections to their delivery platforms. With this update, you’ll be able to clearly see if there are any issues and be able to effectively resolve some of them on your own.

Order Manager: Notification settings

What’s new: Customers using Otter POS or direct ordering will now have more flexibility with their notifications. They can select which notifications to keep among their ordering channels: POS, delivery apps, or direct ordering (kiosk, online ordering, and QR ordering).

Why it matters: Cut down on notification noise and help your staff stay focused on the orders that matter most.
